Would you want a president that told publicly bashed someone multiple times about weight gain and forcing them to cut it? As for me, I would not. Growing up I wasn’t always the skinniest girl in school. I would see the attention the boys would give girls with nice curvy bodies while I had “fat” on me. It hurts to see that, thats just how society is now days and to see our future president body shaming someone makes him another reason as to why he shouldn’t be president.

Trump didn’t body shame just someone, he crossed the line with women by body shaming former miss Universe, Alicia Machado. According to Machado, she had said months after winning the miss Universe contest back in 1996 he ordered her to loose weight. Not only did he order her to loose weight, he went as far as calling her “Miss Piggy” for gaining weight. Its one thing to tell a girl she is fat or over weight but, its another thing to publicly embarrass her in front of thousands and millions of people on national TV. While Trump was in an interview with Howard Stern, he publicly called her an “eating machine” and also invited nearly 100 media outlets to watch her exercise in the gym.

“She weighed 118 pounds or 117 pounds and she went to 160 or 170. So this is somebody that likes to eat,” Trump said then. But, he didn’t stop there. Trump went even further into his criticism by invading her privacy and criticized her diet. In an interview with Inside Edition, Machado had said “I was depressed in that moment.” She also mentioned that he didn’t only make her feel “so fat,” but he also made fun of her english-speaking ability calling her “Miss Housekeeping.” Toward the ending of her interview she told us about how her weight issue lead to 5  years of eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, which made her over the past 20 years go to a psychologist and help her fight this.

After all the shame Trump put her through he reportedly admitted that he did press the former miss universe to loose weight.

“She was impossible … She was the winner and you know she gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem,” Trump said on Fox & Friends. He also had told Fox & Friends “And Clinton found the girl and talked about her like she was Mother Teresa and it wasn’t quite that way, but that’s OK. Hillary has to do what she has to do.” During the first presidential debate, Hillary brought up Machado and defended her, telling reporters that “One of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest. He loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them,” Clinton said. “And he called this woman ‘Miss Piggy.’ Then he called her ‘Miss Housekeeping,’ because she was Latina. Donald, she has a name.” Hillary had a very good point, during an interview Machado had mentioned that she was the first miss universe since Trump had bought the pageant yet he was embarrassing her about her weight gain and her race.

Sources say that Machado said she will become an American citizen in time to vote for the November election. In a previous interview sources asked as for whether she would cast her vote for Trump, she burst into laughter and said, “He can’t be a president.” Trump bullied her “all the time,” she said. And the billionaire didn’t deny forcing her to shed pounds, telling the Times, “To that, I will plead guilty.” To own a pageant business and then embarrass a former winner of your pageant, it is just completely unprofessional and imagine Trump as president… Who knows what he would do to people that are “over weight” or “so fat.”
